I Gotta Get Organized
04:12
|
|||
procrastination hassles me
confusion is my cup of tea
my vision's 20/20, but I can't see
my filin' cabinet's upside down
my picket fence is painted brown
when I take a bath, there's an off chance I might drown
I gotta get organized
gotta get my shit together, gotta do it now
I gotta get organized
I ain't got nothin' better to do anyhow
I gotta get organized
but if I never do I won't be surprised
my wife is four months overdue
my attack dog's name is cindy lou
my left foot don't quite fit in my left shoe
I stop at green lights, I go on red
when the sun comes up I go to bed
when I take ex-lax, it goes right to my head
I gotta get organized
gotta get my shit together, gotta do it now
I gotta get organized
I ain't got nothin' better to do anywhow
I gotta get organized
but if I never do I won't be surprised
my uni-cycle's got two wheels
I don't know how sensation feels
the sushi restaurant serves me cooked meals
my doctor tells me he's in pain
my shrink is legally insane
I get sunburned out in the pouring rain
I gotta get organized
gotta get my shit together, gotta do it now
I gotta get organized
I ain't got nothin' better to do anywhow
I gotta get organized
but if I never do I won't be surprised

03:13
|

I'VE NEVER BEEN A COWBOY, BUT YOU KNOW I BET I COULD
'CUZ EVERY LITTLE COWGIRL I EVER SEEN SURE LOOKS GOOD
NOW I DON'T MIND 'A SPITTIN' CHEW OR PUTTIN' ON A TEN GALLON HAT
LONG AS I CAN FIND ME A PRETTY GIRL THAT'S INTO THAT
WELL I THINK I'LL SADDLE UP AND LASSO ME A CUTE LITTLE COWGIRL
I'M 'A RIDIN' ON DOWN TO THE SMALL TOWN RODEO
I'VE NEVER BEEN A COWBOY BUT I AIM TO CATCH A COWGIRL
AND OFF INTO THE SUNSET 'A RIDIN' WE WILL GO
MY CATTLE RANCHIN' BUDDY'S GONNA LOAN ME AN APPALOOSA
HE'S GONNA TEACH ME HOW TO ROPE AND RIDE AND LIVE THE COWBOY WAY
I'M LOOKIN' FOR A DIRTY GIRL IN TIGHT JEANS AND SNAKESKIN BOOTS
I'M LOOKIN' FOR A DIRTY GIRL TO ROLL WITH IN THE HAY
WELL I THINK I'LL SADDLE UP AND LASSO ME A CUTE LITTLE COWGIRL
I'M 'A RIDIN' ON DOWN TO THE SMALL TOWN RODEO
I'VE NEVER BEEN A COWBOY BUT I AIM TO CATCH A COWGIRL
AND OFF INTO THE SUNSET 'A RIDIN' WE WILL GO
MY GIANT BELT BUCKLE WILL BE SPARKLIN' IN THE SUN
MY LASSO'S GONNA FLY WHILE I SHOOT THE SKY WITH MY SIX GUN
AND WHEN THE DUST SETTLES AND THE ROPIN' AND 'A RIDIN'S DONE
I'LL BE HAVIN' ME A WHOLE LOTTA CUTE LITTLE COWGIRL FUN
WELL I THINK I'LL SADDLE UP AND LASSO ME A CUTE LITTLE COWGIRL
I'M 'A RIDIN' ON DOWN TO THE SMALL TOWN RODEO
I'VE NEVER BEEN A COWBOY BUT I AIM TO CATCH A COWGIRL
AND OFF INTO THE SUNSET 'A RIDIN' WE WILL GO
I SAID OFF INTO THE SUNSET ' A RIDIN' WE WILL GO

Your Latest Fool
02:43
|
|||
well you keep on tellin' me there's gonna come a day
when your good love's gonna wind up, gonna wind up down my way
you paint a pretty picture about how great it's gonna be
and i've got half a lonely mind to wait around and see
but I know a thing or two about how you go treatin' men
and if you think you're gonna fool me too, better think it through again
'cuz I don't play the games you play, just for playin's sake
and I ain't gonna be your latest fool to make
well I know you like to have your way, and doll you ain't to blame
but your way gives a good man, gives a good man so much pain
havin' it your way with me's like rollin' loaded dice
before you lay your money down, well you better kiss it twice
'cuz I know a thing or two about how you go treatin' men
and if you think you're gonna fool me too, better think it through again
'cuz I don't play the games you play, just for playin's sake
and I ain't gonna be your latest fool to make
now if you keep your promise and you give your love to me
you'll find yourself wonderin' why you'd ever wanna leave
but I know how that woman's mind plays evil tricks on you
and if you cheat you'll find them heartbreak stories can be true
'cuz I know a thing or two about how you go treatin' men
and if you think you're gonna fool me too, better think it through again
'cuz I don't play the games you play, just for playin's sake
and I ain't gonna be your latest fool to make
if it falls through for me and you it won't be my heart that breaks
'cuz I ain't gonna be your latest fool to make

Southbound 395
04:07
|
|||
warm wind whippin' by and i'm wheelin' free
got two days relief from the drudgery
gonna lose myself in the desert day
gonna find myself on this old highway
southbound 395
never felt so damn alive
southbound 395
southbound outta here that's where i'll drive
I need some time to think I need time to feel
life from day to day just gets too real
sweepin' sage, yonder mountain tops a soothing sight
gonna follow that sun to the blue moonlight
southbound 395
never felt so damn alive
southbound 395
southbound outta here that's where i'll drive
got no destination, just gotta go
steady on the pedal, play the radio
lookin' back on mistakes I was afraid to make
lookin' on to the chances i'm gonna take
southbound 395
never felt so damn alive
southbound 395
southbound outta here that's where i'll drive
southbound 395
that's where I feel alive
southbound 395
southbound outta here that's where i'll drive

Tumblin' Weed
04:18
|
|||
driftin' through another nameless town
watch another nameless sun go down
I don't know a single soul around
i'm all alone
searchin' for what I don't know to find
to catch me up with all my wasted time
will I be around on down the line
I just don't know
and like a tumblin' weed i'm bound to roam
any way the breeze is bound to blow
lookin' for today, to get me to tomorrow
wanderin' down this lone destinless road
no signs pointin' me which way to go
thought by now i'd probably come to know
but I still don't
one I had a lover's hand to hold
the fire died, my feet became too cold
now i'm lost and listless in the fold
I can't find a home
and like a tumblin' weed i'm bound to roam
any way the breeze is bound to blow
lookin' for today, to get me to tomorrow
like a tumblin' weed
blowin' with the breeze
I search the world for me
i'm just a tumblin' weed
i'm just a tumblin' weed

The Ballad of Wild Bill
04:50
|
|||
his pistol was well-known to be the quickest in the west
and killin' folks for lawlessness was just what he done best
he kept the peace in frontier towns, he fought the civil war
but he sat in that saloon one day, his back turned to the door
on a trip across the oregon trail the legend came to be
four highway men ambushed a wagon train for robbery
four bullets laid the men to rest in the early mornin' chill
and so became the feared nickname the wild man called bill
when the frontier turned a battle ground bill wore the union blue
he fought with ironheartedness and spared the lives of few
but life without it's luxuries proved more than he could take
he left for liquor and the game where money was at stake
wild bill
whoa wild bill
while passin' through missouri wild bill lived up his name
a springfield card sharp called him out for playin' a crooked game
they settled up out in the square for all the town to see
the dude fell hard down to the dirt he died there instantly
acquitted on the grounds of self defense bill packed his trunk
he wound up out in abeline, town marshal and a drunk
two more men quit their livin' from the reckless lawman's gun
and the fed up townfolk ran him off into the settin' sun
wild bill
whoa wild bill
now deadwood was a boomtown in the black dakota hills
the endin' of the killing line for the infamous wild bill
those drinkin' years caught up now old bill couldn't draw so fast
and a sip of gleason's whiskey would soon prove to be his last
a drunken man named jack stepped in the number 10 saloon
he spied his brother's killer with the gamblers in the gloom
two aces and a pair of eights became the final draw
of the wild man shot dead in the head by a gun he never saw
wild bill
whoa wild bill
his pistol was well-known to be the quickest in the west
and killin' folks for lawlessness was just what he done best
he kept the peace in frontier towns, he fought the civil war
but he sat in that saloon one day, his back turned to the door
wild bill
whoa wild bill

First Train Leavin'
03:41
|
|||
well I took all my tricks of the trade and I packed 'em in a trunk
headed westward on a train to try my skill and luck
i've played the game long as i've lived and i've won some and i've lost
but anytime the stakes get high i'll win at any cost
last night I got to reno late but I found me a game
stakes went high, I drew an ace and that's when the trouble came
see when I showed that winnin' hand those suckers got upset
they claimed that ace of mine came from the bottom of the deck
now i'm on that first train leavin'
I got a ticket on that outta this town line
see they called me for cheatin'
I can't say that I ain't guilty of the crime
so i'm on that first train leavin'
I hope it's leavin' on time
well is stood up from that table quick and I left the money there
drew my gun and fired one into the smoky air
and just before I made the door a wind rushed by my ear
a bullet split the door frame lord I was sure my time was near
now i'm on that first train leavin'
I got a ticket on that outta this town line
see they called me for cheatin'
I can't say that I ain't guilty of the crime
so i'm on that first train leavin'
I hope it's leavin' on time
well I stumbled out into the street and I made a left-hand turn
another shot whizzed by my head I had no time to burn
I made tracks for the station, found the ticket man and said
sir please give me one ticket home so's I don't wind up dead
now i'm on that first train leavin'
I got a ticket on that outta this town line
see they called me for cheatin'
I can't say that I ain't guilty of the crime
so i'm on that first train leavin'
I hope it's leavin' on time

Greasy Spoon Waitress
03:00
|
|||
she dances 'cross the diner in her faded jeans
so sugar sweet and sexy she's a poor man's queen
she's my greasy spoon waitress
yeah my greasy spoon waitress
I got a little thing for my greasy spoon waitress
she's a coffee pot slinger, pours it fast and hot
she calls me honey, keeps me hungry round and round the clock
i said she keeps me hungry
yeah she keeps me hungry
I got a little thing for my greasy spoon waitress
sugar sweet and sexy she's a poor man's queen
she calls me honey when she pours my cream
lord, my lordy could she be the one for me
i'm tossin' and turnin' no I just can't sleep
too busy thinkin' 'bout the beauty workin' down the street
she's my greasy spoon waitress
yeah my greasy spoon waitress
I got a little thing for my greasy spoon waitress
sugar sweet and sexy she's a poor man's queen
she calls me honey when she pours my cream
lord, my lordy could she be the one for me
i'm headed to the diner it's half past ten
come breakfast, lunch and dinner i'll be back again
to see my greasy spoon waitress
yeah my greasy spoon waitress
I got a little thing for my greasy spoon waitress
I got a little thing for my greasy spoon waitress
I got a little thing for my....
I said could she be the one
could she be the one
could she be the one
could she be the one for me
